there is a massive retail shopping centre at the airport (DFO) but not sure about apartments – you could try eagle farm which is a close suburb

The suburbs of Toombul, Clayfield, Hamilton, Eagle Farm and Ascot are all handy to the airport. Centro Toombul Shopping Centre is the closest mall, but none of the suburbs is very far from the CBD either. For accomodation, if you’re within 1 month of travelling, try as they usually have the best deals, but only for bookings within that time frame. It’s also a good guide for private bookings if you are outside the 30 days.

Try Formula1 motel it’s the closet to the airport and fairly cheap other than that try around Ascot and Hamilton. Direct Factory Outlet(DFO) is a massive centre and not far away is toombul shopping centre.
